Thomas Hille
Thomas is Founder and Managing Director of LiquidM, a Startup in the Mobile Advertising
Technology Industry, which was sold to Bertelsmann SE & CO KGaA in 2016. Before he started
LiquidM and sold the company successfully, he founded Madvertise GmbH (2009), one of the
first Mobile Advertising Companies in Germany and Artmesh (2007), a platform for art lovers.
Thomas studied IT-System-Engineering at the Hasso Plattner Institute and is tech savvy since he was born.
At Veto-Capital, Thomas provides companies with his broad knowledge of leading tech- and product
teams as well as creating new products. As being a Serial Entrepreneur, he knows the Startup scene
by heart and is happy to introduce you to the people that matters.
When he is not working, Thomas enjoys traveling: from Svalbard to Patagonia he explores culture and
nature first hand.

David Henkensiefken
David is the CPTO at Bridgemaker, a Corporate Venture Builder. Prior to this, he worked as a Director at a global IT consultancy with over 100,000 employees, headquartered in Canada, as well as in various roles across several start-ups. Notably, he served as CTO at a start-up focused on real-time video streaming and innovative online video solutions. He was also a former Collaboration Counselor at an ad-tech company and the CTO of a video content recommendation engine start-up, which he co-founded in 2010. This company was sold in 2014 to G+J (Bertelsmann) and later merged in 2017 with a sister company, which was eventually acquired by Outbrain and is now set to merge with Taboola. Earlier in his career, he worked at a Bremen-based start-up as a Product Manager and Technical Project Leader.
David began his career in the digital industry in the late 1980s and has held various roles in different IT companies. He holds a BASc in Media Informatics and an MS in Digital Media.

Benjamin Rabinowitsch
Benjamin is a full time Business Angel and Privatier, who was responsible for the product
development at LiquidM, a Start-up in the Mobile Advertising Technology Industry. The company
was sold to Bertelsmann SE & CO KGaA in 2016. Before LiquidM, Benjamin was responsible for the
product development at Madvertise GmbH, one of the first Mobile Advertising Companies in Germany,
sold to MNG in 2014. Benjamin studied Computer Science at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in
Munich, focussing on the areas of human-computer-interaction and communication systems. Now he
focuses on agile development processes and analytics driven product development.

Philipp Simon
Philipp is Partner at Veto Capital and is supporting several Start-ups in the early stage phase.
Before his position, he was Managing Director and responsible for Sales & Technical Support at LiquidM, a Start-up in the Mobile Advertising Technology Industry. The company was sold to Bertelsmann SE & CO KGaA in 2016 and to Smart Adserver SAS in 2020. Philipp studied Business Administration with focus on Entrepreneurship. At Veto-Capital, Philipp provides companies with operational guidance in the fields of Sales, Financing and Business Planning. As being in the Mobile Advertising Start-up Space from early on, he has a broad network to introduce you to the right people and knows the Do’s and Don’ts to build companies from early on. Besides work, he loves playing guitar and spending time on Mallorca.

Benjamin Schönburg
Ben is a futurist and angel investor. He was working as a software developer at LiquidM,
a Berlin based Ad-Tech company. He studied computer science at Freie Universität Berlin and
brings 8 years of academic and professional tech experience to Veto Capital. He worked for
companies in all phases of the start-up life cycle and helps founders avoid common and uncommon
mistakes when incorporating their company. Besides being a software developer by day, he mostly
also is one by night - always tinkering on a new tech project.
